In a recent spread in Famitsu magazine, new details about Hyrule Warriors Legends arose. Not only will the game have brand new stages, but it will also have altered version of existing stages, such as Lake Hylia at sunset and Valley of Seers in the daytime with a “natural-looking” sky. Characters will also be receiving new weapons. Ganondorf will be wielding his signature Trident, which will be classified as a lightning elemental. This allows Ganondorf to attack fast and swiftly. He can even throw the Trident into the ground, electrocuting all enemies in its wake.
A newly announced character, Linkle, will get her own story missions as a backdrop to the main story. It is likely that she is transferrable to the Wii U version of the game as the other characters are. Scans show her fighting two important characters: Midna’s Twili form and the Skull Kid. It makes one curious as to what Link’s female counterpart is up to.
Hyrule Warriors Legends will be released in North America on March 25.
